Rtist Creative Platform creates opportunities for creative talents and clients to connect. Your safety on our platform is important, so we have the terms & conditions of using our platform, but here, our wizard copywriter summarized it into a guideline of what’s allowed and whats not on Rtist.

Rtist community guidelines help to ensure our platform is a safe space for you, engaging and a trustworthy space for all creative talent.

**If you see any content that violates our guideline, do report to us in the chat or message us on our Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Rtistmalaysia**

1) Authenticity is Key

- Any company profiles that do not have a profile picture will be monitored for spam accounts. Time to put in some company branding to your profile, learn how to do it here.

- Do not fake any information on your profile as talents will check if you’re authentic as well, it goes both ways.

- A good company profile shows their brand story, workplace culture, company benefits and location.

2) Payment, Cancellation and Refund policy

- A Service Contract is formed at the point when you accepted the proposal made by the Talent and made the agreed payment. You acknowledge and agree that that act of Talent making a proposal to you shall only constitute an offer which shall be subject to your acceptance in your sole discretion.

- Once the service contract is formed, the talent and client is protected by Rtist terms of service.

Cancellations that happen before the talent has started work entitles the client to have a full 100% refund (upon acknowledgement of both parties) and it is subjected to a 5% admin fee from the payment.

- It's best not to cancel after talent has started a job and submitted work unless there's mutual consent. We will refund based on the agreed amount between both parties, but if there’s no agreed amount, we’ll split a 50% refund to both parties.

- It is your duty to monitor your job progress from start to end. Always drop a review on the talent after the project has been completed.

3) Disputes

- Any complaints or disputes between talent and client, shall be solved between the two parties.

- Alternatively, clients or talents can notify us within 7 days from the date of delivery to intervene in the discussion.

- If in any way a client is awarded a refund, you are not allowed to use the talent’s work at all.

- Legal action can be taken for copyright infringement/using copyrighted work without permission.

4) Safety is key

- Rtist’s ESCROW transaction is designed to hold your full payment until your talent has completed the job, thus eliminating the need for deposits.

- Rest assured, ESCROW acts as the middle person between you and the talent. You do not have to worry if the talent runs away nor does the talent have to worry about clients running away.

- Rtist will only intervene for any disputes that happened through ESCROW. Thus, we strongly suggest you (and the talent) not to deal outside our platform.

- Payment for a job is only applied to freelance transactions. Full-time and Internship do not have initial transactions.

5) House Rules

- Client must not request, demand or receive free services in the form of requesting talent to submit their work as part of a proposal.

- Attempting to falsify/manipulate talent by threatening to give bad review.

- Misusing the feedback feature to express views unrelated to the work, like political, religious or social commentary.

- Do not post or transmit any false information.
