[Talent] What are the best practices on Rtist?

Portfolios will be your primary communicator between you and the client. Clients will approach you based on your portfolio's quality and suitability to the role. 

Best Practice:
✅ Upload at least 3 of your past works (the more the better). 

✅ Add on any links to your other digital portfolio sources.

DO NOT: 
❌ Post your face as your portfolio, that's for profile picture. 

❌ Post links to other portfolio in 1 image, use the About Me Section.

Pro-tip:
Always remember to fill up your about me section, as it is your resume online.

Usernames is important as it's part of your official domain link. Makes you look more professional as well for getting approached by clients. 

Best Practice:
✅ Use a real name as your username

*Artist name is allowed too.

DO NOT:
❌ Put your game username, eg: Noobmaster24, SteamedChicken.

NOTE: Usernames cannot be changed by talent upon registering. Please email [email protected] for username change assistance.

Profile picture is how people will know you are a real person or not. Only scammers don't put profile picture. 

Best Practice:
✅ Use a real photo as your profile photo.

*Artist version of your face/logo is allowed too.

DO NOT:
❌ Keep the profile picture section empty or with inappropriate picture. 

Best Practice:

✅ Use a real email for you to receive notifications (Messages & job invitations).

DO NOT:
❌ Use fake emails. 

INFO: Some clients are able to retrieve your email contact through their own unlocking feature Rtist. Do not worry, as it is part of trying to connect with you faster. 

NOTE: Emails cannot be changed by talent upon registering, as emails is your primary notification channel. Please email [email protected] for username change assistance.

5) Phone Numbers

Best Practice:

✅ Use a real phone numbers that are contactable (often clients use whatsapp first). 

DO NOT:
❌ Use fake phone numbers that are uncontactable. 

INFO: Some clients are able to retrieve your number contact through their own unlocking feature on Rtist. Do not worry, as it is part of trying to connect with you faster.

FYI, Sometimes, Rtist team may contact you via phone to verify some info as well.
